Voters in the Sooner State approved medical marijuana, and in the hotly contested Republican primary for governor, they sent Mick Cornett and Kevin Stitt to a run-off election.

Oklahomans approved State Question 788 with more than 56 percent of 889,225 ballots cast, and just 3 of 1,951 precincts unreported by midnight.

State Question 788 legalizes marijuana use for those with a recommendation from a licensed physician.
