First and foremost, in order to reinvest funds in classrooms, we must increase teacher compensation and lower administrative expenses.

This goes beyond simply providing our children opportunities and doing the right thing by our instructors. It has to do with our future.

We need entrepreneurs and skilled people to assist our firms if we are to expand them and draw in new ones.

To create a more affluent Oklahoma, we must invest in Oklahomans and cease reducing funding for higher education.

  • Our priorities need to be reflected in our budget. To make us competitive nationally and draw in the greatest educators for our children, our instructors require a series of wage increases rather than a single one-time increase.
  • Teacher compensation is only one aspect of school finance. Duct tape holds the textbooks for our children together. Smaller class sizes, more instructors, and administrative accountability are all necessary.
  • Every student should have access to Pre-K in every school. Children in Oklahoma should have access to top-notch education. Pre-K is where it all begins.
